This is an audio episode about Yallourn’s Con Artist who would become known as Australia’s Greatest Conman.

John Friedrich commenced as an emergency services personnel with the National Safety Council of Australia (NSCA) in Yallourn at the Power Station, in 1977. He lived in Tyers Street with his wife and his daughter was born in the Yallourn Hospital.

Please note as I unravel this tale of crime, mystery and intrigue… I’ll use the terms, council, NSC interchangeably but it all means the Victorian Branch of the National Safety Council of Australia. Who despite John Friedrich’s unreliable narrative saying they knew, they say the Victorian Branch acted independently.
