One of Australia’s best coin counterfeiters Henry Holroyd arrived on the Thurland Castle – not like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. Thurland Castle was the name of a ship. He was born alongside his twin brother to humble farmers caring for his grandfather. He worked many jobs, but it appears none as diligently as trick coin creation. Unfortunately for him Henry did not work for the Australian Mint and was often on the wrong side of the law.
When people talk about the Haunted Hills and the suspicious rumbling noise they would talk about the criminals of the Haunted Hills or the coal and caves. Specifically, the criminals discussed were sly grog traders, bootleggers and those who make fake currency. Henry is fascinating all on his own.
