Over the course of Yallourn, there were five superintendents. They ran the town, the power stations and generation overseeing all that was there. Making decisions and planning for the future and the end.

The first superintendents was, John Morrice Bridges followed by Robert Derwent Dixon. Lieutenant Ralph Alec Hunt was the third superintendent, after his promotion to the chairman, William Morrison stepped into the role, with the final Superintendent Brigadier John Field.
